Meet the Team
Anil Nathan

Anil Nathan graduated from Edinburgh University in 1999 and worked at a number of small animal clinics before starting his own practice in 2004. Having then moved on from this practice in 2021 he has since been working as a locum vet in a variety of different settings. This has opened his eyes to new ideas and has helped him realise that he finds independent veterinary practices a much more enjoyable place to work.
Anil enjoys consulting and developing longstanding relationships with clients and their pets and being involved on the journey from kitten or puppy until later life.
He enjoys all manner of medical cases, diagnosing and treating diseases and particularly being aware that there are many different options for many conditions which can be tailored to suit each individual pet and owner.
Anil also enjoys surgery and is competent with all soft tissue surgery, dental treatment and basic orthopaedics such as lateral suture cruciate repairs.
Anil is a qualified OV and has extensive experience of handling the paperwork involved with pet exports to different countries when owners are going on holiday with them or emigrating.
Anil has all manner of pets from dogs and cats, to guinea pigs, chickens, sheep as well as a busy family at home! When he does get some spare time he is trying to master golf with mixed success…

She has a keen interest in helping patients with diabetes, cushings, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, and rare but rewarding to treat diseases like Addison's disease. Kathryn has a husband, Oscar, which is coincidentally the name of the first dog she ever castrated! Kathryn loves doing agility with her own dogs and does have a particular soft spot for Border Collies having always grown up surrounded by her parents’ and grandparents’ Border Collies. Clinical Team
Claire Paling-Wood

Veterinary Surgeon MRCVS
I graduated from Liverpool Vet school in 2017 and worked in charity practice for the first 6 years of my career. I have loved meeting new furry friends and developing my surgical skills ever since! I am working towards a Surgical Certificate, and outside of work love running, yoga, walking our beautiful rescue dog Beans (who Kathryn played a big role in saving!) and spending time with family.
Oliver Sillitoe

Regular locum Veterinary Surgeon MRCVS
I finished my post graduate veterinary degree in Slovakia in 2019 and have worked at small animal clinics in Essex since. I enjoy a mix of both consults and surgery (in particular soft tissue surgery). I have two very excitable cocker spaniels! I enjoy playing golf whenever time allows - not always successfully!
Chloe Clack

Part-time Head Nurse RVN
I graduated from Writtle University College in 2020. There are so many aspects to veterinary nursing and I truly love them all! Some of my most experienced areas of nursing are anaesthetic monitoring & preparing patients for surgery, phlebotomy, providing critical care to inpatients, as well as wound care & bandage application. I also enjoy radiography and carrying out nurse clinics where I look forward to seeing our lovely patients for administration of monthly injections and supporting patient recovery post - surgery. I love all creatures great & small but I do have a soft spot for spaniels and small furries!
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband, our daughter, and our huge extended family.
Emma Robertson

Part-time Head Nurse RVN
I qualified as a RVN in 2008, so I bring extensive experience to the team! My background includes exotic species nursing during my training and I have previously been a Head Nurse in another busy small animal practice. I have a calm and empathetic approach. I love putting nervous and anxious patients at ease and seeing them relax. I have a particular passion for inpatient care and I am dedicated to ensuring each and every animal feels safe and supported during their stay.
At home I am kept on my toes by my mischievous rescue cat ‘Pickle’, and I enjoy countryside walks with my beloved rescue dog ‘Hettie’. When I am not caring for animals you will find me gardening or quad biking with my husband Cameron.
Aimee Clark-Walsh

Part-time Nurse RVN
I qualified from Writtle College University in 2015 . I was inspired to join the profession by caring for my own dog, Gizmo, who became paraplegic. Helping him to walk again gave me a deep appreciation for rehabilitation. It's a joy supporting pets and their owners through to recovery.
Phlebotomy is one of my favourite parts of nursing and I love the challenge of getting blood samples on first attempt from the patients with the trickiest of veins! I also love all the care involved with surgical in-patients during their stay in the clinic and after in recovery.
As a busy mum of two boys, it's wonderful to see their appreciation for animals and nature already.
Emily Price

Nursing Assistant
I couldn’t be more excited to start my journey as a veterinary nurse. This opportunity feels like the beginning of something I’ve dreamed about for a long time—a chance to turn my passion for animals into a meaningful career.
Joining a veterinary practice means more than just starting a new job. It means stepping into a role where I can truly make a difference every day, whether it’s through supporting animals in need, comforting worried owners, or learning from experienced professionals who share the same passion. I’m looking forward to growing my skills, building strong relationships with the team, and contributing to the incredible work that happens in a vet clinic.
I know this role will be both challenging and rewarding, and I’m ready to give it my all. Starting this job is a dream come true, and I’m so grateful for the chance to do something that truly matters. I can’t wait to begin this journey and be part of a team that cares as deeply about animals as I do.
